I'm sending along a photo of my attempt to drape a rino image... also made by me!
Not sure if I'll end up using the vacuum press as I'm not so crazy about the object without sharp edges... Guess we'll see what happens!
There are other designs I'm also interested...

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting an image of your progress on the blog(as required). Today will be (mostly) a workday, so we can try to drape some other forms. In regards to the non sharp edges, we can either bridge a rounded line (under the sub tool panel in Rhino on left side of screen) at the top and bottom of the long rectangle and extrude, or we can round them in the analog stage by either sanding the foam post mill/pre vacuum press, or plaster, whichever way you are leaning... see you at 11:15.
